Internship Description:
An intern is needed to assist with social marketing efforts, fundraising and event management as well as contribute to research on health policy issues affecting elderly women. Georgia Women for a Change is looking for someone who considers themselves to be pro-choice, interested in a range of women's and girls issues, self-directed, and comfortable with a range of social media.

Internship Description:
A student intern is needed to assist with Anti-Drug media campaign efforts as well as the design and implementation of other prevention efforts such as school presentations.
A student intern is needed to assist Lumpkin Family Connection with a community needs assessment. The assessment will evaluate not only the health status of Lumpkin County, but also the availability of health services, especially for those with chronic diseases.
Location: Work from home (supervisors located in Jasper County)

Internship/Project Description:
A student intern is needed to assist with a benchmarking project for Jasper County and similar counties around the state. The project will include gathering data from cohort counties in order to analyze staffing and budget requirements. The work can be done from home and will be supervised by a Jasper County Commissioner and County Manager. A working knowledge of excel or similar software is required and student must have completed at least one statistics course.
A student intern is needed to assist the Partner Up! campaign with further engagement of the student and academic communities as well as public health retirees. The intern will also contribute to ongoing research to build evidence of the connection of public health and economic vitality at a community and county level. Other responsibilties will include regularly updating the website, facebook and twitter.

Internship/Project Description:
A student intern is needed to assist with research efforts on health policy issues. Research topics will relate to the uninsured, access to care, the Affordable Care Act, best practices in free and charity clinic operations, and other issues affecting these safety net clinics. This opportunity can be pursued as an independent capstone project or an on-site internship.
An intern is needed to assist with tuberculosis patients enrolled in the Alternative Housing Program. The project will include coordination of case management services, maintaining the patient database and working with local health departments. American Lung Association in Georgia is looking for a nonsmoker who values confidentiality, works well independently, and is comfortable with diverse communities.
An intern is needed to assist with social marketing efforts, fundraising and event coordination as well as contribute to program promotion and implementation. The intern will manage and regularly update the website, Facebook and Twitter pages. American Lung Association in Georgia is looking for someone who is a nonsmoker, self-directed and comfortable with a range of social media.
A part-time intern is needed to assist with the work of our policy and advocacy committee. This includes assisting staff and board members as they develop Georgians for a Healthy Future's 2012 Policy Priorities, assisting with logistics for our annual policy breakfast event, and monitoring health-related legislation during the 2012 Legislative Session and assisting the Executive Director during the Session. The intern should have knowledge of Medicaid, CHIP, private health insurance, and federal health reform as well as some knowledge of the legislative process.

Internship Description: Assistant to the Executive Director
An intern is needed to act as the assistant to the executive director, including maintenance of the membership database. In addition, this person should be able to assist with the Annual Meeting/Conference and Legislative Reception event planning.

A part-time intern is needed to assist staff with social marketing, media relations, event management, database entry and community relations. The intern should have a prior knowledge of social marketing entities including Facebook and Twitter. The intern will assist staff in developing a targeted media list and story pitches for breast cancer awareness month. Additional responsibilities may include working with staff on fundraising events, the development of partnerships with other community organizations and legislative issues as they pertain to breast cancer.
Internship Description: Community Outreach Coordinator
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting awareness of services to current and future partners to ultimately increase the number of clients served. During this internship you will interact with major corporations, hospital systems and other major agencies within the state of Georgia. Additionally, you will work with the Program Manager to have direct- hands on experience with clients of Embraced.

This candidate will evaluate and coordinate the logistical operations of Embraced. Candidate will develop a sound understanding of supply chain management, basic bar coding, and inventory management. Candidate will work closely with the Logistics Director to organize and implement effective supply chain solutions for the organization. Additionally, you will work with the Program Manager to have direct- hands on experience with clients of Embraced.

Internship Description: Revenue Development Coordinator
The Revenue Development Coordinator will be responsible for researching revenue opportunities for the organization and helping to execute applications/processes for these opportunities. This position will also entail working with current funding streams and managing these processes.
